The Horse Care Club was created in 2020, a result of creating a free online pony care course for children during lockdown which was hugely successful. From this, we decided to create The Horse Care Club, an affordable club for children. Whether they own a pony, ride at a riding stables or just love ponies, this club will provide your children with education as well as fun activities and a friendly, safe environment.

Sarah Tame, owner and director of Equine Distance Learning, is a BHS and Pony Club Coach, and the content is all written to promote correct horse welfare, and to encourage a fun learning environment. Sarah also holds her City and Guilds Level 5 certificate in Further Education and is an experienced lecturer which helps her produce effective learning materials, in a simple and easy to understand format.

Sarah's son has now started riding and both Murphy the Pony and Henry are part of the Horse Care Club acting as helpful volunteers in demonstrating both horse care tasks and top riding tips!
